Thank you for your interest in the CHOPS 2010 National Percussive Arts Competition Series, a unique meeting place for the technically inclined and the artistically inspired. Rudimentary Percussion meets an awaiting world as Aerial Experience Productions, a Los Angeles-based arts and entertainment firm serves up the CHOPS Competition Series in an effort to discover and award the nations most extraordinarily skilled drummers with cash prizes, quality gear from sponsor companies and a shot at a National Title. AEP produces creative artistry for PR firms and large corporate enterprise as well as the television and film industry, offering uniquely integrated elements of physical movement, visual staging and musical performance. CHOPS allows rudimentary percussionists an opportunity to spread their wings by composing and presenting individualized, multi-dimensional routines in an effort to garner high point scores from carefully selected jury panels.
