"CHOPS" National Percussive Arts Competition is visiting cities across the country thanks to the Creative Arts and Entertainment firm, Aerial Experience Productions, who since its inception, has been a leading influence in the integration of unique percussion performance in to large scale, multi-dimensional presentation. Serving a wide ranging clientele from major PR firms and corporate enterprise to the television and film industry, Aerial Experience Productions is proud to offer this exciting opportunity for drummers across the country to display their talents, passion, individuality and creativity.
The New age of percussive arts has arrived! CHOPS is a multi-discipline, artistic drumming competition created to highlight expression and creative artistry within the bounds of the highly technical requirements of rudimental percussion. Rewarded for their artistic stylings, winners are showered with cash prizes, armloads of swag and unique opportunities to join AEP on its creative journeys around the world.
This series of solo and small group nationwide snare drum competitions is searching for uniquely talented artists with extraordinary chops! Soloists and Groups are going head to head in elimination rounds to win thousands in cash prize money, armloads of swag and an invitation to the 2010 National Finals. Events include guest judged competition rounds, showcase performances and celebrity Q&A. Don't miss it!
